According to Dr Mosoma,

“ We are not embarrassed to say we are a domestic tourism destination. 80% of the people who come into Nkangala are South Africans and the other 20% is made up of people from international countries. The partnership between MTPA and NEDA makes sense for our region, because when we work together and our marketing initiatives are successful, we’ll be able to attract travellers to our region. For every 8 travellers that visit Nkangala, at least one job will be created,” said Mosoma.

A Member of the Mayoral Committee(MMC) at Nkgangala District Municipality, Ms Mahlangu, said;

“ The region is perfectly positioned as a trade and cultural heartland of Mpumalanga, having Ndebele Culrural Village, eco-tourism and adventure tourism products. We are a proud home of Dr Esther Mahlangu and Gogo Esther Mnguni, our amazing cultural icons that are globally known and respected.
