Mxolisi Mkhonto, a prominent businessman from Mpumalanga, has been chosen to lead the Africa Trade Unit. This organisation helps African businesses grow and trade with other countries.

Mkhonto wants to encourage businesses to invest in other countries. He believes this will help small businesses grow and create jobs.

“ I want to make it easy for small businesses to sell their products and services in other countries,” Mkhonto said.

“ We need to remove obstacles and create a good environment for entrepreneurs to invest in other countries.”

Mkhonto’s organisation will work with countries to simplify trade processes, reduce red tape, and provide access to financing and training programs.

He comes from Mpumalanga, a province in South Africa known for its rich natural resources and business opportunities. His experience in mining and property makes him the right person to lead the African Trade Unit.

Mkhonto’s goal is to increase trade between African countries. He wants to teach business people how to trade in foreign countries and promote African products globally.

The African Trade Unit’s mission aligns with the African Union’s vision of increasing intra-African trade. Mkhonto is committed to creating a conducive environment for trade and investment, fostering sustainable economic growth and job creation.

“ I’m honoured to lead the Africa Trade Unit, and I promise to work hard to ensure that African businesses succeed in the global market,” said Mkhonto.
