The Department of Social Development in Mpumalanga, led by MEC Lindiwe Ntshalintshali, hosted a roadshow to engage with non-profit organisations(NPO’s) in Bushbuckridge on Tuesday, at Maviljan community hall.
The roadshow reportedly targeted NPO’s that are funded by the department, also including those with an interest to receive financial support, to gain extensive knowledge about the importance of complying with the NPO Act No 71 of 1997.
” The roadshow gives NPOS’s the opportunity to know their status, check compliance and share information about different funding models provided by the department and its stakeholders,” said the department on a statement.
