The items as well as the vehicle were confiscated for further investigation,” said Lt-Col Ndubane.
Similar patrols conducted by police earlier on the same day along the R40 Road in Barberton and R38 Road at Sheba, led to the arrest of two Zimbabwean nationals, aged 25 and 27, for allegedly contravening the Immigration Act of South Africa, after they found without valid documentation to be in the country.
The suspects will appear at the Barberton Magistrate’s Court for possession of GBM and Contravention of the Immigration Act.
