Provincial Treasury hosts train

A training workshop was recently conducted by the Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury to assist officials on how to prepare financial statements and other related aspects.
The participants were appointees who are responsible for the financial administration in their respective departments.
According to a statement released by the Provincial Treasury, the training also focused on financial management functions such as budget and expenditure, revenue management and financial reporting.
“ The training forms part of a myriad of interventions that are aimed at improving financial reporting, using the caseware tool, and enhancing accountability mechanisms in the provincial administration,” said Treasury in a statement.
