An alleged fake supplier, Kwena Mohlala(40),at the department of employment and labour in Piet Retief is being hunted by the Mpumalanga directorate for priority crime investigation(Hawks), for failing to honour his court appearances.
Mpumalanga spokesperson for the Hawks, captain Dineo Sekgotodi, said that Mohlala appeared before court on two occasions after his arrest and he reportedly failed to avail himself on the subsequent appearances as expected, which resulted in a warrant of his arrest being issued.
” The search for Mohlala emanates from a criminal case, where Mohlala partook in a scheme to defraud the department. He was arrested during an intelligence operation led by the Hawks and he was found in possession of 5 claims and payment sheets ready for processing,” said Sekgotodi.
