Mpumalanga Police are in search for suspect(s) who murdered a 33-year-old woman on 02 July 2021, at Machadodorp.
According to information at police disposal, police were informed of a vehicle parked next to the road in a veld near Rietfontein Farm with a woman.
Police responded and rushed to the scene, where a yellow VW Polo with a woman in the driver’s seat with gunshot wounds was found.
The woman was certified dead and identified as Nompumelelo Patricia Malaza.
Her family was notified and it was discovered that she was working for a banknin Sabie and was on her way to visit his brother in Carolina.
A murder case was opened and the matter is currently being investigated.
The motive for the killing is unknown as nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Her belongings including, wallets as well as her handbag and a laptop were found inside the vehicle.
