South African police plan to arrest former president Jacob Zuma by midnight on Wednesday,according to the Police Ministry spokeswoman Lirandzu Themba.
Zuma was sentenced last week to 15 months in jail for contempt of court and he was ordered that he surrender himself to the authorities by July 4, or face arrest within three days of that deadline.
