The Taxi that had all the frugs

A 37 year old Mozambican taxi driver was nabbed by police at the Lebombo port of entry after he was allegedly found in possession of 50 kilograms of heroin on Monday.
Police have reported that the suspect’s Toyota Quantum minibus, with a North West registration number plate, was searched and a suspicious powder was found inside plastic buckets.
” Members used some apparatus to ascertain what they discovered before arresting the driver and charged him for dealing in drugs. He is expected to appear at the Komatipoort magistrate’s court on Tuesday, facing the said charges,” said Mpumalanga police spokesperson, colonel Donald Mdhluli.
The arrest was welcomed by Mpumalanga provincial police commissioner, lieutenant-general Semakaleng Manamela.
