It is about Nine (9) sporting codes and Nine Provinces competing for the best and all that is needed it’s commitment and hard work. The Mpumalanga team has promised to do their best in Making the province proud in winning most of the games in Durban. Speaking to Emsamo News one of the participants Thandekile Mahlangu, from Thembisile Hani Municipality who plays Intonga said they will bring wins back home.
“Indigenous games have been there for a long time, to us there is nothing new and we are glad to be part of the participants to compete and showcase the beauty of our Indigenous games back from our fore fathers. Representing a province has never been an easy task but we try daily in doing our best to put our province as well as our department on the map in pushing hard in getting some wins so our province Mpumalanga will be proud of us. We would also like to thank the department of Culture sports and recreation in our province in making sure that we also compete in this games, it means a lot to us as young player, “she said.
