The MEC for education in Mpumalanga, Bonakele Majuba, has welcomed teachers, non-teaching staff and learners into the third quarter.
He equally called upon communities to support schools and the schooling programme, by ensuring that there are no disruptions in the academic schedule.
Majuba said that the third quarter is very significant in the annual school calendar, as it is the last quarter before learners sit for their final exams.
” We, with all stakeholders hand in hand, need to create a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning to take place, so that our learners can achieve their full potential.
” We also urge learners to take full advantage of this quarter as it offers them the last chance to prepare for their examinations. Together we can make this a successful quarter,” said Majuba.
