Mpumalanga DCSSL MEC, Jackie Macie, believes that the appointment of the new traffic officers further consolidate efforts by the Department to maintain law and order on the roads, particularly with the recent launch of the Festive Season Road Safety Campaign.

“ He(MEC Macie) called on the new traffic officers to serve with integrity. He referred to many law enforcement officers who lost and ended their career in the public service as a result of taking bribes from motorists. He pleaded with them to remain honest so that they do not disappoint their families and the Department,” said DCSSL.

The event was attended by family member of the graduates, guests from the private sector as well as senior government officials.
