The Department of Health in Mpumalanga hosted the Ministerial Advisory Committee, led by its Chairperson- Professor Solomon Rataemane, on Mental Health during a provincial visit on 25 March.
Taemane said the purpose of the visit was to support and give advice on challenges, in the quest to improve the provision of mental health care in the province of Mpumalanga, and share the committee’s assessment with the Minister of Health Dr Joe Phaalha.
MEC Manzini welcomed and acknowledged the visit by Dr Rataemane and his committee.
“ You are all welcome and we believe your input will go a long way in improving the well-being of mental health care users in the province,” said Manzini.
