It had been a well Two days of team building by the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs where senior managers had to loosen up. The event which was held in Manzana formerly known as Badplas had the managers being praised of their hard work by the departments HOD Mfana Chunda.
Chunda who was addressing his senior managers said for a department to move it need positive impacts.
“We have seen team DARDLEA being pulled into all manner of public platforms in a positive light lately, because the Department is making positive impact and changing lives, and that is marvelous”, he said.
Chunda warbled praises to his team and the rest of the DARDLEA officials for the ground-breaking achievements and good strides witnessed over the last financial year, saying a lot has been achieved and improved, regardless of the challenges that the Department has to deal with.
The senior managers were further praised on the good results that came through the department which was a Clean Audit Report attained for 2021/22 Financial Year, and the improvement achieved in the empowerment of women within the same year.
The Team Building Sessions was aimed to strengthen the understanding of senior management roles and responsibilities in serving the needs of internal and external clients. It was led by acclaimed Motivational Speaker and Coach Billy Selekane, who sermonized on the significance of organizational culture, which can help build a winning Senior Management and a Department that has a common vision, goal, culture and values.
