Two suspects aged 48 and 53, Dawie Groenewald and Schalk Abraham Steyn accused of illegal dealing and possession of rhino horns have both been released on bail amount of R 50 000 by the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court.The Two were arrested on Wednesday by the Hawks organised crime unit.
Upon their arrest they were found with Rhino horns to an estimated value of R R2,6 million.Case postponed to the 17th of September 2021 for further investigation.
The Two are expected to report at their respective police station once a week and can not leave their respective provinces without notifying the Investigating oficer.
