Triland Tour Operators Unite to Boost Tourism

In a bid to revitalise the tourism industry, Tour Operators from Eswatini, Mpumalanga, and Mozambique have pledged to create irresistible packages that will draw a longer stay in the region by visitors.

This commitment follows the recent successful three-day Eswatini Triland Excursion tour, hosted by Eswatini Tourism Authority from October 23-25 2024.
Showcasing Hidden Gems
The tour welcomed 24 operators from Mpumalanga and Mozambique’s Instituto Nacional de Turismo(INATUR), treating them to a warm welcome at Eswatini’s breathtaking attractions. The event aimed to introduce and showcase the country’s best-kept secrets.

Ambitious Goals
Eswatini Tourism Authority has set lofty targets which include;
• Increase average visitor stay from one to three nights.
• Achieve tourism revenue of E2 billion by 2027

Lukhele said adapting marketing strategies and creating great packages can assist South Africa, Eswatini, and Mozambique immensely to attract local and international visitors. He highlighted the warm hospitality and good working ethics of the three countries as a winning formula.
