Members of the Hawks in Mpumalanga once vowed they will never leave any stone unturned for crimes happening in the province.
A 24-year-old suspect was arrested on 21 December by members of the Hawks in Middleburg after an investigation pointed at him in relation to the killing of Sergeant Joseph Kutu.
Kutu who was attached to the Witbank Tactical Response team was shot at his house in July 2021. Investigations went on immediately after the shooting which has led to the arrest of the 24 year old.

The arrest followed an intelligence driven information about one of the outstanding suspects in the case. The suspect was arrested at his home in Kwaggafontein on Tuesday.
He is expected to appear before Emalahleni Magistrates’ Court. More arrests are imminent and investigation continues.
