Duhva primary school in Tasbert Park-Emalahleni, recently received a donation of a fully-equiped computer centre.

The donation is regard, by the department of education in Mpumalanga, as having a major impact on the lives of learners at the no-fee school, which will further encourage the teachers and staff to maintain their examplary dedication towards providing the learners with the best possible education.

” There are many benefits to using a computer centre in the current era of technology. It is being used for a variety of educational purposes, including research, writing and communication. The computer centre is also being used by learners to learn about new technologies and to develop digital skills and will provide the students with access to a wide range of resources that they would not otherwise have,” said the department of education in a statement.

Furthermore, the department believes that the computer centre will give learners of Duhva primary school the opportunity to explore new ideas and stay connected with the world outside of their community.
