Mpumalanga College of Nursing hosts learners during Open Day

Grade 11 and 12 learners from various schools attended the Mpumalanga College of Nursing Open Day Programme held at the College in Kabokweni, outside White River, on 16 August.
The Department of Health said, in a statement, that the Open Day Programme was aimed at exhibiting and educating the learners about the opportunities found in the nursing profession, also attracting suitable candidates to apply and study Nursing in the facility.
“ This Open Day is the first of its kind to be hosted in the College premises. In the previous years, the College conducted outreaches in different districts of the province,” said the Department of Health.
The College staff and students were reportedly led by the Principal, Ms TP Skhakhane, who was joined by 30 Ward Councilors, Themba Hospital staff, Board Members, Provincial Office Bursary Manager, Organised Labour and educators from various schools.
