A mobile clinic which provides primary health care services to the communities of Mkhulhu and surrounding areas in Bushbuckridge, received an announced visit from Mpumalanga health MEC, Sasekani Manzini, on Friday.
The department said in a statement that, Manzini’s visit was primarily aimed at monitoring the provision of health care services at the clinic and she was happy with the commitment of health professionals towards their clients.
Manzini also displayed her confidence in the services and work of the staff by checking her health status and wellbeing during a consultation at the clinic.
” The MEC urged communities in isolated areas and newly displaced populations to use these services for their benefit. The department will continue to use mobile clinics to improve access to primary health care services with its flexibility. Mobile clinics have over the years assisted our health professionals to respond dynamically to populations current and evolving needs,” said the department.
