According to a statement by DARDLEA, Hlalanikahle was initiated 4 years ago with just 5 members and it has grown to 15 youthful and energetic members who collect recyclables, sort and prepare it for the market.
ā€œ This is because they believe that waste must not end at landfill sites, but must be recycled, resold and reused. The members believe the sky is the limit, because the donated equipment will benefit their organisations. They say in Trash, they see Treasure. In Waste, they se me Wealth,ā€ said DARDLEA.
