The provincial instalment of the national teaching awards ceremony was held in Secunda on Tuesday, to honour and pay tribute to all teachers who put an extra effort in their work against all odds.
According to the department of education in Mpumalanga, the ceremony has been a norm for the past 23 years, aimed at awarding excellence in the profession of teaching.

” Indeed, the national teaching awards provide us with a platform to celebrate excellence and teachers who are creating a lasting legacy in the lives of learners and communities.
